The 'Parque de Jogos Comendador Joaquim de Almeida Freitas' is a multi-use stadium located in Moreira de Cónegos, Guimarães, Portugal. It currently serves as the home stadium for Moreirense, hosting football matches.
The stadium was built in 2002 following two consecutive successful promotions for the club. It was constructed to host Moreirense's home games during the 2002–03 Primeira Liga season. During the season, the club faced significant criticism regarding the lighting towers and safety conditions around the pitch. Consequently, the club had to vacate the stadium for a few weeks so that the league association could verify whether adequate facilities and safety measures were in place for supporters and players. The stadium was subsequently deemed safe for play.
