Standing at 166 cm (5' 5"), his comparatively short stature became a point of viral recognition in 2019 when a photo circulated online showing him dwarfed by his opponents during a youth match against Ajax, an image that led some social media users to affectionately describe him as the "little giant."

Having progressed exclusively through the Sparta Rotterdam academy since joining as a youth in 2012, Santos established himself in the U23 team (Jong Sparta Rotterdam) before signing a full professional contract extension until 2029 and permanently joining the senior first-team squad in the summer of 2025.
