Ahmed Daniyal is a Pakistani cricketer known as a right-arm fast-medium bowler and a right-handed lower-order batsman. He attracted attention in short-format cricket due to his high pace, sharp bouncers, and accurate yorkers.

Rising through the domestic ranks

Ahmed began his cricketing journey with grassroots tape-ball cricket in Pakistan, which helped hone his fast bowling and aggressive style. He was discovered through the Lahore Qalandars' 'Players Development Program' (PDP), which opened the door to professional cricket for him. He has represented senior domestic teams in Pakistan such as Central Punjab, Lahore Whites, and Sialkot Stallions.

Franchise and Global Leagues

In the Pakistan Super League (PSL), he made his Twenty20 debut for Lahore Qalandars in 2021. Subsequently, he also represented Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators.
